LGC JUNIOR PROGRAMS

LGC offers instructional memberships for experienced middle school and high school golfers looking to improve, compete or play at the next level. All instructional memberships require an evaluation to determine if skill levels meet the necessary requirements to participate. Instructional membership categories have limited availability and will wait list when full. Overview of instructional categories and current practice times are listed below.

HIGH SCHOOL SILVER

Monthly membership designed for junior varsity or varsity level high school golfers.

  • Weekly 60 minute small group sessions, with practice plans and instruction by PGA Professional, Randy Wexter

  • 4 additional one-hour simulator practice sessions, scheduled at your convenience to play golf or practice at the range.

  • Unlimited access to the short game practice, speed/mobility/stability areas at LGC

Instructional programming focuses on all aspects of the game. Some examples include course management, swing training, learning to shot shape, short game, course management and how to practice effectively to improve.

Members choose one session to attend for duration of membership. Current practice session choices are

Tuesday 4-5 or Wednesday 5-6

MIDDLE SCHOOL SILVER

Monthly membership designed for middle school golfers hoping to play competitively at the high school level.

  • Weekly 2-hour small group session with practice plans and instruction by PGA Professional, Randy Wexter

  • 4 additional one-hour simulator practice sessions, scheduled at your convenience to play golf or practice at the range.

  • Unlimited access to the short game practice, speed/mobility/stability areas at LGC

Instructional programming focuses on building skills in all aspects of the game and instilling knowledge necessary to compete in summer tournaments and at the high school level. Curriculum will include swing skills, short game, putting, course management, rules and more.

HIGH SCHOOL TEAM

Monthly membership offered to high school golfers with extensive tournament experience and/or members of their high school varsity golf teams.

  • Twice weekly 2-hour practice sessions, with practice plans and instruction by PGA Professional, Randy Wexter

  • Unlimited one-hour simulator practice sessions, scheduled at your convenience, to play golf or practice at the range.

  • Unlimited access to the short game practice, speed/mobility/stability areas at LGC

Team programming focuses on improving current skills and building competitive skills. Curriculum will include all areas of swing development, competition, decision making, course management, self assessment, tournament preparation & planning, college recruiting and more.
